Hannah Hallissey enters her 12th year at Post in the Athletic Training Department. She was given the Head Athletic Trainer title at the beginning of the 2023-24 academic year after being named Associate Athletic Trainer back in 2021. She serves as the trainer for the Football, Men's Soccer, Men's Basketball, and the Men's/Women's Tennis teams.Â
Prior to Post, Hallissey was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Minnesota State-Moorhead in Moorhead, Minn. With the Dragons, her primary responsibilities were with the football and women's swimming and diving teams. She was also a trainer at both the Minnesota State-Moorhead and North Dakota State summer camps and provided training services to participants aging from 5-18 years old.
While an undergrad at Southern Connecticut State she served as the Head of First Aid and CPR for intramurals, was a student worker in the Owls' athletic training office, and held an internship with the Mystic Schooners of the New England Collegiate Baseball League
Hallissey earned a B.S. in Athletic Training from Southern Connecticut and an M.S. in Advanced Athletic Training from North Dakota State University. She is a BOC Athletic Trainer, Red Cross CPR/AED and Professional Rescuer Certified, member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), North Dakota Athletic Trainers Association, and Mid Atlantic Athletic Trainers Association.
