Cross Country Runs At Cabrini College Invitational

RADNOR, Pa.-The Post University men's and women's cross country teams competed in the 2007 Cabrini College Invitational on Saturday afternoon, at the Belmont Plateau in Fairmount Park.

Sophomore Tim McCarthy led the men's team, as he finished 39th overall with a time of 28:49.26 over the 8k course. Junior Claudel Jean Louis finished second on the team, crossing the line in a time of 36:48.76. Junior Ben Schoenberg rounded out the top three for the Eagles with a time of 37:49.94.

Sophomore Ryan Strauss was the fourth men's team member to finish with a time of 39:09.42. Freshman Nicholas Kinlock was next for the Eagles, finishing with a 40:30.71. Sophomore Grant Mills followed with a 42:21.39.

Junior Megan Oates led the Post women's team, recording a 23:25.71 on the 5,000-meter course, finishing 61st overall. Senior Jamie Salvesen was second on the team with a 24:41.72. Sophomore Jenna Salvesen was third on the team with a 29:22.28.

The Belmont Plateau will be the site for the 2007 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships, next Saturday afternoon.
