Cross CountryCross Country Competes At Dominican Invitational October 9, 2006 BLAUVELT, N.Y.-Tim McCarthy led the Post University men's cross country team, and Quistara Letona lead the women's cross country team on Monday afternoon at the Dominican College Invitational at Tallman State Park. The women's team finished second overall with 71 points, while the men's team finished third overall with 80. McCarthy finished sixth overall with a 32:38 over the 8k course. Matt Melhouse was second on the team with a 36:22 finishing 13th overall. Claude Jean-Louis finished third on the team and 18th overall with a 38:29. Grant Mills finished 21st overall with a 43:12 and Ryan Strauss was 22nd overall with a 43:37, Letona finished 10th overall with a 25:30 over the 5k course. Jamie Salvesen finished second on the team and 12th overall with a 26:29, and teammate Vanessa Lagares finished right behind in 13th overall with a 26:52. Jenna Salvesen finished 17th overall with a 27:46, and Emma Everest was the other top-20 finisher with a 28:15 to finish 19th overall. The Eagles return to action on Monday, Oct. 16 with a dual meet
at Hop Brook Lake Park against Concordia College at 3 p.m.
