Women's Soccer No. 6 Seed In CACC Tournament

NEW HAVEN, Conn.-The field for the 2007 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer Championships is set, and for the third consecutive season, the Post women's soccer team is a part of it.

The Eagles finished the CACC portion of their schedule with a 5-5-1 record, and have won three of their last four matches and five of their last eight to end the regular season at the number-six seed in the tournament.

Post will travel to Georgian Court University on Tuesday afternoon for a CACC Quarterfinal match. Kick off is slated for 2 p.m., on the Georgian Court campus.

Holy Family University is the top seed in the tournament after a 2-1 win on Thursday over Philadelphia University, who is the number-two seed. GCU is the third seed, followed by No. 4 Wilmington, No. 5 Dominican, No. 6 Eagles, No. 7 Caldwell, and No. 8 Nyack.

Quarterfinal matches will take place at the highest seeds on Tuesday afternoon. The winners advance to the semifinals and finals at Felician College.
