Women's Soccer Stumbles On The Road At Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA-The Post University women's soccer team fell to Philadelphia University, 3-0, in a Central Atlantic Athletic Conference (CACC) match on the road Saturday afternoon.

It was a scoreless match, until the 43rd minute, when Sara Redka fed Stephanie Filmer, who found the back of the net at 42:17, giving Philadelphia (9-4, 7-0 CACC) a 1-0 lead.

The Rams also got an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute from Brianna Reinford, and a goal from Rebecca Kennedy in the 71st minute off an assist from Heater Walton.

Junior Morgan Luschenat recorded seven saves in goal for the Eagles (2-11-1, 2-4-1 CACC).

Post returns to the pitch on Tuesday afternoon, as it hosts Nyack College for a CACC contest at LaMoy Field. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m.
