NEW HAVEN, Conn.-Freshman Kelli Veras (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) garnered her second Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week honor on Monday afternoon.

Veras, who was Co-Rookie of the Week on September 25, tallied a goal and an assist, as the Eagles went 1-1 in two matches last week. In the 3-2 double overtime win at Felician; she tallied a goal and an assist to help the Eagles to the conference victory.

She is second on the team in scoring with four goals and 10 assists for 18 points. She was tied for seventh in the NCAA Division II statistical rankings, last week for assists per game. She enters this week averaging 0.71 assists over 14 games this season.

The Post women's soccer team returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 14, for a non-conference clash with Philadelphia University at LaMoy Field. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
