Post is coming off a loss on opening night to Merrimack on the road. Junior forward Stephanie Goss had 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting for the Eagles. She also controlled seven caroms and went 3-of-4 from the charity stripe.

Sophomore forward Kendra Pitts and junior Cortensia Davis each added six points for the Eagles in their first games in the Green and White.

The game was a sloppy affair as both teams accounted for 51 turnovers (26 Post, 25 Merrimack). Post also held a 16-12 margin on the offensive glass.

NYIT is also 0-1 on the season, after falling 96-73 to Philadelphia University last weekend. NYIT had four scorers in double figures led by Madison Robertson who had 19 points, followed by Emily Bolling who chipped in with 18 points.
