Women's BasketballWomen's Basketball Looks For Fourth Win In A Row January 18, 2008 WATERBURY, Conn.-After winning three games in a row, the Post University women's basketball team, will look to make it four in a row, as it hosts Chestnut Hill, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game. Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m. in the Drubner Center. This is the first-ever meeting between the two schools, as Chestnut Hill is in its first season as a member of the CACC, after making the move to Division II this past summer. The Eagle Sports Network will carry the game live. Joe Coss (play-by-play) and Claudel Jean-Louis (color analyst) will call the action. The webcast is available online at http://www.posteagles.com/. The Nike Pregame Show begins at 12:35 p.m. Post (3-11, 3-4 CACC) welcomes CHC to town, after a 77-63 win over Felician College on Tuesday night. Junior Stephanie Goss led all Eagles with a team-high 22 points and 11 rebounds. It was her seventh double-digit point outing of the season, and first double-double of the year. Freshman Mallorie Michalak tallied a career-high with 15 points on 4-of-8 shooting. She also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out three assists. Senior LaToya Coley had 13 points, and senior Jennifer Rose chipped in with 12. Rose was perfect from three-point range, knocking down four on the night. Coley leads the Eagles averaging 10.4 points per game, and leads the team with 31 three-pointers on the season. Goss is second on the team in scoring with 9.4 points per game. The junior is also the leading rebounder with 6.6 caroms per game. Michalak is third on the team with 8.6 points per game. Chestnut Hill is 2-12 overall and 0-6 in CACC play, after a 75-54 loss to University of the Sciences on Thursday evening. Tara Walsh led all scorers with 21 points, converting each of her 11 charity stripe tosses. Jenna Beck and Jessica Pruiti each added nine points. The Griffins have three scorers in double figures, led by Beck who is averaging 12.3 points an outing. She is also the team's leading rebounder with 8.5 rebounds a game. Walsh is second on the team in scoring and rebounding with 12.1 points per game and 7.1 rebounds a game. Samantha Dodds is chipping in with 10.0 ppg. Following the game with Chestnut Hill, the Eagles will travel to
Caldwell College on January 23.
