Women's Basketball Travels To No. 11 Holy Family Tuesday Evening

WATERBURY, Conn.-The Post University women's basketball team, will face a tall-order on Tuesday evening, as they travel to Holy Family University for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game. The Tigers are ranked 11th according to the latest USA Today/ESPN/WBCA Coaches Poll, with an 11-0 record and a 3-0 mark in the CACC.

Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. at the Campus Center on the Holy Family University campus.

Post (0-10, 0-3 CACC) will be looking to rebound off a tough 77-40 loss to Goldey-Beacom last Saturday afternoon. Post is led by senior LaToya Coley who is averaging 9.5 points per game. Junior Stephanie Goss is second on the team with 8.6 ppg.

Goss also leads the team with 6.5 rebounds per outing.

Holy Family is coming off a 65-57 win over Bloomfield last Saturday afternoon. After leading 31-24 at halftime, Bloomfield scored 19 of the first 22 points of the second stanza to take a 43-34 lead with 14:10 remaining.

Bloomfield would extend it to 48-39 at the 11:07 mark, before the Tigers scored 15 points to take the lead for good. Kelly Killion led the team with 16 points while Catherine Carr chipped in with 15.  Carr leads the team with 15.4 points per game, while Christine McCollum is second on the team with 12.3 ppg. Killion is adding 11.8 ppg as well.

Following game, the Eagles will travel to Felician College for a CACC North contest. The Eagles will close out the five-game road trip with Georgian Court on Saturday afternoon.
