Women's BasketballPrado, Williams Garner CACC All-Conference Honors February 26, 2007 NEW HAVEN, Conn.-Post University women's basketball seniors Marjorie Prado and Tadj Williams were named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Conference third-team by a vote of the coaches on Monday afternoon. Williams is making her third appearance on the All-CACC third-team, while Prado is making her second appearance on the third-team. Prado finished the regular season 12th in the conference in scoring with 14.0 points per game. She scored in double figures 21 times, including five out of the last six games of the regular season. The 5-foot-8 guard also scored 20 or more points seven times. She finished the regular season second in the conference in steals per game with a 3.0 spg, and ninth in the CACC with 1.96 three-point field goals made per game. Williams leads the Eagles in scoring with 14.5 points per game, and finished the regular season 10th in scoring in the CACC. She recorded double figures in 20 games this season and recorded 20 or more points in three games. She also record nine double-doubles this season. The 5-foot-8 forward also finished eighth in the CACC with 8.6 rebounds per contest, eighth with 2.15 steals per game, and 11th in the conference with 2.73 offensive rebounds per game. Post finished the regular season winning four out of its last six games, and six out of its last 10 contests. The Eagles are the No. 8 seed and will square off with No. 1
Holy Family University on Wednesday evening at 7:30 at the Campus
Center on the Holy Family campus. Post is 9-18 overall and 9-13 in
CACC play. Holy Family is 25-2 overall and 22-0 in the CACC. The
Tigers are ranked No. 10 according to the latest ESPN/USA
Today/WBCA Division II Poll.
