Women's BasketballWomen's Basketball Stumbles At Bloomfield February 20, 2007 BLOOMFIELD, N.J.-Senior Tadj Williams recorded her eighth double-double of the season, and fifth in a row, with 19 points and 16 rebounds, as the Post University women's basketball team dropped an 83-71 decision to Bloomfield College on the road Tuesday evening. Post falls to 8-17 overall and 8-12 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), while Bloomfield improves to 14-10 overall and 13-7 in the CACC. Williams connected on 5-of-12 from the field, and sank 9-of-13 from the free throw line. Seven of Williams' caroms came on the offensive glass. Senior Marjorie Prado was the only other Eagle in double digits with 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting. Prado also grabbed five rebounds and had three steals. Ciera Darby led all scorers with 25 points for Bloomfield, while Marissa Franklin had 16 points, and Shantae Barnes had 13 points and 16 rebounds. Post shot 33.8 percent (22-65) from the field, 32 percent (8-25) from three-point range, and 61.3 percent (19-31) from the foul line. Bloomfield connected on 38 percent (30-79) from the field, 26.3 percent (5-19) from three-point land, and 81.8 percent (18-22) from the charity stripe. Bloomfield controlled the boards with a 50-46 margin, and a slight 21-19 edge on the offensive glass. Post returns to the hardwood on Thursday evening, as it travels
to Dominican College for a CACC tilt. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m.
