WATERBURY, Conn.-The Post University women's volleyball team is ranked in the first NCAA Division II statistical rankings of the season in two categories, as the NCAA released the rankings on its website on Wednesday.

With matches played through September 9, the Eagles are ranked 38th in Division II in services aces per game with a 2.61 service ace per game average. The Eagles lead the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in that category as well. Post has recorded 52 aces on the season, heading into this evening's match with East Stroudsburg University.

In addition, senior Vicky Ducharme is 35th in NCAA Division II in aces per game. She also leads the CACC in that category with an 0.75 average, recording 12 aces in 16 with matches through Sunday.

Post welcomes East Stroudsburg to the Drubner Center, this evening for a non-conference match. Junior Kerry Smith, who recorded her 700th kill on Monday, needs 11 digs to reach the 1,000-dig plateau.
