Women's Volleyball Falls To Southern New Hampshire

WATERBURY, Conn.-The Post University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (13-30, 19-30, 22-30) decision to Southern New Hampshire University, in the first match of the 2007 season on Wednesday evening in the Drubner Center.

Junior Kerri Smith led the way with eight kills, while freshman Natasha Loving added six in her collegiate debut for the Eagles.

The match was the first for Head Coach Mike Brienza, who begins this season with the Eagles after guiding Jonathan Law High School to over 200 wins in 12 seasons.

Post returns to the court on Saturday afternoon, as it travels to UMass.-Lowell for a tri-match with the host Riverhawks and Concordia (NY). The Eagles return to the Drubner Center on Wednesday, Sept. 5, as they host Queens College, at 7 p.m.
