VolleyballVolleyball Drops Tri-Match To Holy Family, Molloy October 13, 2007 PHILADELPHIA-The Post University women's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to Holy Family University and Molloy College Saturday afternoon at Holy Family. Following today's matches the Eagles are 6-14 overall and 6-4 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). Holy Family Match Holy Family defeated the Eagles 3-0 (30-25, 30-16, 30-9) in a CACC match. Freshman Natasha Loving had eight kills to lead the Eagles offense. Junior Kerry Smith had six kills and a team-high 21 digs. Senior Desere Obregon had 13 assists. The Eagles had 17 kills, 17 assists, five service aces, 41 digs and four total blocks in the match. Holy Family was led by Lauren Gosnell who had 13 kills, and Aimee Drabyn who had 35 assists and 12 digs. Maria Scherrer had a match had 24 digs. Molloy Match Molloy defeated the Eagles 3-0 (30-24, 30-18, 30-27) in a non-conference match for the second match of the day for Post. Smith led the Eagles with nine kills and 14 digs. Loving and senior Telisha Moultrie added five kills. Loving also had 10 digs. Sophomore Nicole Gizzi had four kills and eight digs. Obregon had 21 assists and nine digs, for the Eagles. Post had 24 kills, 23 assists, nine service aces, 49 digs, and a pair of blocks. The Eagles will return to the Drubner Center on October 16, for
the second meeting of the season, with Felician College. The
Eagles defeated Felician 3-2 (30-25, 20-30, 27-30, 30-26, 16-14) on
September 27. The match is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
