VolleyballLinares Key In Volleyball Sweep At Caldwell September 26, 2006 CALDWELL, N.J.-Freshman Haleema Linares (Miami, Fla./Braddock) had 13 kills to lead all players in a 3-0 (30-22, 30-15, 30-28) win for the Post University volleyball team over Caldwell on Tuesday evening at the Newman Center. With the win, the Eagles improve to 4-10 overall and 4-3 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) while Caldwell falls to 0-8 overall and 0-7 in the CACC, in its first intercollegiate season. Senior Tadj Williams (Albany, N.Y./bishop Maginn) finished with 12 kills for Post. Freshman Gabrielle Hopkins (Yonkers, N.Y./Marble Hill) dished out 28 assists. Sophomore Michelle Stotz (Naugatuck, Conn./Naugatuck) led the Eagles with nine digs, which snapped her nine-match double-digit dig streak. Post finished the evening with 39 kills, 32 assists, 15 service aces, 34 digs, and 3.0 total blocks. Caldwell had 19 kills, 13 assists, four service aces, 30 digs, and no blocks. The Eagles finished the match with a .301 hitting percentage, while Caldwell had a .028 percentage. Post returns to action on Thursday, as it travels to Stonehill
College for a non-conference match at 7 p.m.
