VolleyballVolleyball Swept At Bloomfield, 3-0 September 18, 2006 BLOOMFIELD, N.J.-Senior Tadj Williams (Albany, N.Y./Bishop Maginn) and freshman Haleema Linares (Miami, Fla./Braddock) each had 10 kills and the Post University volleyball fell to Bloomfield College, 0-3 (19-30, 28-30, 15-30). Post falls to 2-8 overall and 2-2 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), while Bloomfield improves to 3-4 overall and 3-1 in the CACC. Freshman Gabrielle Hopkins (Yonkers, N.Y./Marble Hill) dished out 25 assists. Sophomore Michelle Stotz (Naugatuck, Conn./Naugatuck) recorded 10 digs. It was the sixth match in a row, that she registered 10 or more digs. Sophomore Kerry Smith (Lynbrook, N.Y./Lynbrook) had her five-match double-double streak stopped, as she had five kills and five digs this evening. Juruena Silveira, who had 11 kills, led Bloomfield, while Sonia Perez added 34 assists. Ursula Pereia led all players with 17 digs. Bloomfield held a 37-29 edge in kills, a 44-31 margin in digs, and an 8.5-6.0 edge in total blocks. Bloomfield finished the evening with a team .189 hitting percentage, while the Eagles hit .100 on the evening. Post returns home on Wednesday, as Felician visits the Drubner
Center for a CACC match at 7 p.m.
