WATERBURY, Conn.-The Post University volleyball team defeated Nyack College, 3-0 (30-23, 30-26, 30-25), in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match Wednesday evening at the Drubner Center.

The Eagles (5-13, 5-5 CACC) were led by senior Tadj Williams who had a match-high 14 kills. Freshman Haleema Linares chipped in with 11 kills.

Freshman Gabrielle Hopkins dished out 33 assists, for the Eagles. Sophomore Michelle Stotz led all players with 13 digs, and junior Vicky Ducharme chipped in with 10.

Nyack (4-16, 4-6 CACC), was led by Wendy Paige and Laurie Staurt who each had six kills apiece. Tara Leegwater dished out 22 assists and Colleen Weidman had 13 digs.

Post returns to action on Thursday evening with a non-conference match at Molloy College.
