Caldwell Sweeps Softball In CACC Doubleheader

CALDWELL,  N.J.-The Post University softball team was swept by Caldwell College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader at Caldwell Field Thursday afternoon. Caldwell improves to 26-19 overall and 16-5 in the CACC. Post falls to 20-25 overall and 8-13 in CACC.

In the first game, senior Michelle Stotz went 1-for-3 at the plate for the Eagles. Sophomore Samantha Canning went 1-for-3 and sophomore Stephanie Carrillo went 1-for-2.

In the nightcap, senior Allison Williams went 3-for-3 with her 11^th double of the season, while senior Caitlin McAveney went 2-for-3 with her seventh double of the year.

Post returns to action on Saturday, as it hosts Philadelphia University at LaMoy Field.
