SoftballSoftball Splits With Felician April 10, 2007 WATERBURY, Conn.-Junior Allison Williams went 3-for-4 with her ninth double of the season and three runs batted in, to help the Post University softball team to an 11-4 win in the nightcap of a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon at LaMoy Field. Felician won the opening game 5-4 in nine innings. Post improves to 8-14 overall and 5-5 in the CACC. Felician falls to 8-9 overall and 2-6 in CACC play. Post had four players in the nightcap to record multi-hit games, and the Eagles pounded out 13 hits in the nightcap, after recording 14 in the first game. Junior Desere Obregon went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Junior Michelle Stotz went 2-for-4, and Caitlin McAveney went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in. Post has won five of its last eight games, including three of its last five. Post returns to action on Wednesday afternoon, as they host
Mercy College in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.
