The Eagles defeated Bentley College in the first game, behind a solid pitching performance by senior Megan Pappas. She yielded just five hits and no walks while striking out four batters. Pappas also helped her cause at the plate, with a run-scoring base hit. Junior Amanda Misa was 2-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored. Sophomore Michelle Stotz and freshman Samantha Canning also had base hits for the Eagles. Post had its 22 inning shutout streak snapped in the nightcap, as St. Michael's scored one run in the fifth inning, en route to a 5-2 win. The Eagles scored both their runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, as Pappas smacked a two-out double over the left fielders head, plating Misa and junior Vanessa Lagares. St. Michael's would score two runs in the sixth and two more in the seventh. Freshman Stephanie Carrillo gave up five runs on nine hits and stuck out three batters on the afternoon. Misa was 1-for-3 with a run scored, and Pappas was 1-for-2 with a double and two runs batted in. Post is scheduled to open Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference
