Softball's Holtom Named ALL-CACC For Fourth Time

Waterbury, CT-Crista Holtom (Waterloo, Ontario) has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference second team in the softball ALL-CACC balloting by the coaches.

Holtom, a four-year, ALL-CACC performer is the school's all-time leader in wins, strikeouts, and ERA. She will always be remembered by her heroic performance in lifting the 2003 team to the CACC Championship.

The Eagles finished the year, 20-28, but Holtom gained 13 wins. In 155 innings, she struck out 123 and allowed 128 hits. She tossed 19 complete games and had six shutouts.

Holtom was a second team member in her freshman and junior year. For her sophomore performance she was named to the first team. In addition, she is on the All-CACC Academic Team.
