Men's Tennis

GROTON, Conn.-The Post University men's tennis team picked up its first win of the season, with a 6-3, victory, over Mitchell College, Wednesday afternoon.

The Eagles (1-5) swept the doubles matches to go up 3-0. Tony Arroyo and Yoshinori Ito won their number-one doubles match 8-2. Justin Howard and Mike Cavallo picked up an 8-6 win at number-two doubles and Dan Nadel and Shintaro Saito won 8-3 at number-three doubles.

On the singles side, Ito picked up an 8-6 win at number-two singles, and Cavallo picked up an 8-2 win at number-four singles. Howard won a close 9-7 match, at number-five singles, to clinch the victory for the Eagles.
