Ted Haley begins his fourth season at the helm of the Post University men's soccer team in the 2008 campaign.

Last season, Haley guided the Eagles to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer Championships for the fourth consecutive season. He was also able to rely on sophomore Eurica Trowers, who finished the year sixth in the conference in scoring, while earning first-team All-CACC recognition.  In addition, senior Raleigh Woodburn was recognized by the conference, earning CACC All-Tournament honors.

Haley's 2006 squad, finished the season 9-7-5 overall and 4-1-3 in the CACC, reaching the CACC Championship match, where they lost to two-time defending champion Dominican College.  Post won nine 12 of its last 18 matches, and at one point of the season was unbeaten in 11 of 13 matches, to finish the season ranked number-10 in the NSCAA/adidas New England Region Poll.

After inheriting a team that went 3-15-0 the previous season, in his first season at the helm, Haley guided the Eagles to a CACC Tournament berth, with an 8-10 overall record and a 3-5 mark in conference play.  His three year overall record at Post is 22-31-6.

Haley came to Post University, after spending six years as the head boy's soccer coach and director of athletics at the Dublin School in Dublin, New Hampshire.

He began his playing career at the University of Connecticut, where he was a freshman starter. He also played at Coastal Carolina and the College of Charleston. He was a three-time Trans-America All-Conference selection, and was a part of teams that reached three straight NCAA Championships.

Following his collegiate days, Haley was drafted by the Buffalo Blizzards of the National Professional Soccer League. He then latched onto the A-League, which is a feeder league to Major League Soccer.

He played for Hampton Roads, and affiliate of DC United of the MLS. He also played for the Connecticut Wolves, the Worchester Wildfire, and the New Hampshire Phantoms.

Haley graduated from the College of Charleston in 1997, with a degree in physical education.

He currently resides in Milford, Connecticut, with his wife Kathy, and his son Tye, who was born in September of 2007.
