Trowers Garners Spot On CACC Honor Roll

NEW HAVEN, Conn.-Sophomore Eurica Trowers was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference on Monday afternoon, after scoring four goals in two games, in a pair of wins for the Eagles last week.

On October 4, the sophomore forward from the Bronx recorded his second three-goal game of the season, in a 3-1 win over Felician College at LaMoy Field. He matched the feat he originally set on September 22 in a 4-1 win over Chestnut Hill College.

Then against Goldey-Beacom on the road last Saturday, Trowers' header in the 89th minute of play, proved to be the difference in a 1-0 win on the road.

He leads the team and is among the leaders in the CACC in scoring with 11 goals for 22 points on the season, after he had a goal in Monday's loss to Bentley College. For his career, he has 13 goals for 26 points.

Under Head Coach Ted Haley, the Eagles in fifth place in the CACC with a 3-3 conference record, and are just a half game back of fourth place Holy Family who is 3-2 after last week's action.

Post returns to action on Thursday afternoon, as it travels to Bloomfield College for an important CACC clash. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m.
