Eurica Trowers Selected To All-CACC First Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn.-Sophomore Eurica Trowers was selected to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) first-team, as the Conference announced the post-season awards in a voted conducted by league's 10 head coaches.

Trowers had a breakout season for the Eagles, as he led the team in scoring with 13 goals for 26 points. He had a pair of three-goal games, notching a hat-trick against Chestnut Hill on September 22 and Felician on October 4.

He was named CACC Player of the Week on September 24, and also earned a pair of appearances on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll earlier this season.

Trowers also had a game-winning goal, and has tallied 15 goals in his two seasons with the Green and White.

Jhonny Arteaga of Dominican was named the Men's Soccer Player of the Year, while Joe Wright was named the CACC Rookie of the Year. John Campbell of Dominican was named the CACC Coach of the Year.

Post finished the season, on Monday afternoon with a 4-1 loss in the opening round of the CACC Championships at Holy Family University. The Eagles were the number-five seed in the tournament with a 3-5-1 conference mark.
