Men's Soccer Ranked 10th In New England Region

WATERBURY, Conn.-After reaching the championship match of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), last Sunday, the Post University men's soccer team was rewarded with its efforts with its first NSCAA/adidas New England Regional Ranking in recent memory.

The Eagles entered the poll with a No. 10 ranking, after defeating Felician College 2-1 in overtime in the quarterfinals and Wilmington in the semifinals last week. Post dropped a close 1-0 decision to the eventual CACC Champion, Dominican College, who is ranked third in the New England Region.

Post finished the season with a 9-7-5 overall record and a 4-1-3 record in the CACC. The Eagles were the number-three seed in the CACC Men's Soccer Championships.

Franklin Pierce is ranked first in the region, followed by Southern Connecticut State, at number-two, Dominican at number-three, Merrimack and Southern New Hampshire tied at number-four, and were followed by UMass.-Lowell, St. Michael's, Caldwell, Bryant, and the Eagles.
