Men's Soccer Ranked In NCAA Statistical Leaders

WATERBURY, Conn.-The Post University men's soccer team finished the 2006-07 season ranked in five categories in the final NCAA Division II statistical rankings. The Eagles finished the season with a 9-7-5 overall record and a 4-1-3 mark in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).

The Eagles reached the championship match of the CACC Men's Soccer Championship, and finished the regular season ranked No. 10 in the NSCAA/adidas New England Region.

Sophomore Dan Nadel finished 19th in save percentage with a .822 percentage, as he was listed in three individual categories. He also finished 40th in saves recording 83 in 17 games for the Eagles this season. The Farmington, Conn. native averaged 4.88 saves per outing, and finished 42nd in goals against average with a 1.085 rating.

As a team, the Eagles recorded a 1.03 goals against average to finish 35th in the Nation. The Eagle goalkeepers also combined to finish 17th in save percentage with a .822 percentage.
