Robertson Named CACC Player Of The Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn.--Senior swingman Arthur Robertson (Far Rockaway, N.Y./Beach Channel) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week, after averaging 21.5 points and 9.0 rebounds for the Eagles last week.Robertson led the Eagles in a 93-86 win over Pace University last Thursday. He was two assists shy of a triple-double, with 32 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. He connected on 11-of-17 from the field, while converting 9-of-11 from the charity stripe.

He also scored 11 points in a 55-48 win over University of the Scinces, in a CACC contest at the Drubner Center last Saturday afternoon. It was the sixth time in seven games that the senior has scored double digits. Dating back to last season, he has scored double figires in 17-of-19 games.

The senior leads the team and is fifth in the CACC in scoring with 16.9 points per game. He is also 10th in the conference in rebounding with 7.3 caroms per contest. He is also seventh in the conference in free throw percentage with 79.5 percent (35-44).

Post enters the 10-day exam break with a 4-3 overall record and a 2-0 mark in the CACC. The Eagles return to action on December 18 in the first round of the ECAC Division II Holiday Classic at the University of Brideport, against Concordia College (NY). Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
