Men's BasketballMen's Basketball Hosts Green-White Scrimmage Sunday Evening October 25, 2007 WATERBURY, Conn.-The Post University men's basketball team will take to the court for the first time in 2007-08, on Sunday evening, for the second annual Green-White Scrimmage. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. and admission is free and open to the public. Last season, the Eagles finished with a 17-12 overall record and a 14-6 mark in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, en route to a share of the Regular Season Championship for the second time in four years, last season. Head Coach Mike Donnelly, who was named CACC Coach of the Year last season, announced the teams for Sunday's intra-squad scrimmage. The Green Team will be coached by Assistant Coaches JR Fredette and Latef Roberts and feature junior guard Isa Carnegie (Plainfield, N.J./Plainfield), senior guard Tyrone Dulin (Queens Village, N.Y./Bayside), junior center Jesse Iyalekhue (Bronx, N.Y./Columbus), freshman guard Garvin McAlister (Norwich, Conn./N.F.A.), junior guard Rob McClain (Waterbury, Conn./Globe Tech), junior forward AJ Reitter (Baltimore, Md./Franklin), and junior forward Omar Robinson (Brooklyn, N.Y./Canarsie). The White Team will be led by Assistant Coach Rick Brown and Student Assistant Coach Marques Brown, and will consist of junior forward Simon Barnett (Upper Marlboro, Md./Douglas), senior forward Romayne Benjamin (Bloomfield, Conn./Bloomfield), senior guard Mike Brockington (Far Rockaway, N.Y./Mohawk Valley C.C.), senior forward Peter Lawal (Uniondale, N.Y./Uniondale), junior swingman James Lee (Montreal, Canada/Vanier Prep), senior swingman Arthur Robertson (Far Rockaway, N.Y./Beach Channel), and freshman guard Spencer Smith (White Plains, N.Y./White Plains). The 2007-08 season tips off on November 15 with a non-conference
tilt at Merrimack College. Post will then head to the Purple Knight
Classic November 17-18, and will open the home portion on the
season on November 20 against C.W. Post.
