Men's BasketballMen's Basketball Set For First-Ever Meeting With Chestnut Hill January 18, 2008 WATERBURY, Conn.-The Post University men's basketball team welcomes Chestnut Hill College to the Drubner Center on Saturday afternoon for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match-up. Tip-off is slated for 3 p.m. following the Post-Chestnut Hill women's game at 1 p.m. This is the first-ever meeting between the two schools, as Chestnut Hill is in its first year as a member of the CACC, after making the move from Division III to Division II this summer. The Eagle Sports Network will carry both games live. Joe Coss (play-by-play) and Claudel Jean Louis (color analyst) will call the action from courtside. The webcast is available online at http://www.posteagles.com/. The Eagles are looking to rebound from a tough 78-77 loss to Felician College on Tuesday night. They enter Saturday's game with a 7-8 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the CACC. Post rallied with a 13-3 run to knot the game at 77-77, after a long-distance three-pointer from junior Omar Robinson with eight seconds left, however Felician was able to win it at the free throw line, as Devon Young sank the second of two charity stripe tosses to win the game. Despite falling on the short end of the scoreboard, the Eagles had three players in double figures led by senior swingman Arthur Robertson, who had a game-high 20 points. He was 5-of-8 from the field and 9-of-13 from the free throw line. Junior center Jesse Iyalekhue had 11 points, including 10 in the first 20 minutes, on 5-of-7 shooting, while junior AJ Reitter chipped in with 10. For the game, the Eagles shot 52.9 percent from the field, connecting on 27-of-51 shots. Behind the three-point arc, the Eagles shot 40 percent, knocking down 8-of-20. Post enters Saturday's contest with three scorers averaging double-digits, led by Robertson with 16.5 points per game. Reitter is second on the team with 16.4 ppg, and senior forward Peter Lawal is third with 11.1 ppg. Robertson is also the leading rebounder for the Eagles, as he is pulling down 7.9 caroms per contest. Chestnut Hill enters Saturday's tilt with a 2-12 overall record, and a 2-4 CACC mark, after defeating University of the Sciences 72-66 on Thursday evening. Despite getting out rebounded 36-20, it forced USP into 18 turnovers which led to 20 points off turnovers for the Griffins. Julian McFadden and Brandon Williams each had 20-point nights for Chestnut Hill, as McFadden led at Griffin scorers with 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting. He also drained five three-pointers on the night. Williams netted 20 points on 5-of-10 shooting. Williams leads the team with 14.0 points per game, while McFadden is second on the team with 13.8 ppg. Trento Davidheiser leads the team with 6.4 rebounds per contest. CHC is scoring 64.2 points per game, but giving up 80.1 points by their opponents. Opponents are also out rebounding the team by a -10.0 margin (42.4 opp; 32.4 CHC). As a team, the Griffins are shooting 36.8 percent (312-847) from the field, while opponents are shooting 49 percent (399-815). Following the game on Saturday, the Eagles will have to redjust
and set their sights for a road trip to Caldwell College on January
