Golf Finishes 10th At ECAC Championships

SYRACUSE, N.Y.-Freshman Ryan Philipp shot a 148 (74, 74) to finish plus-six, finishing tied for 18th, at the 2007 ECAC Division II Men's Golf Championships on Monday, at the 6,213-yard Drumlins Country Club.

As a team, the Eagles finished 10th overall in the 21-team field with a two-round score of 604. Post finished first round action with a 304, and shaved four strokes off that mark in second round action.

Sophomore James Livingstone finished second on the team and tied for 32nd overall with a 151. Livingstone carded a six-over par 77 in the first round on Sunday, but came back to shoot a three-over par 74 in second round action.

Junior Jamie Blake finished third on the team with a 152 (74, 78), while sophomore Lee Wanklyn carded a 153 (79, 74) for the tournament.

Senior Mike Cavallo registered a 171 (90, 81).

LeMoyne College won the team title with a score of 585, while Bryant College was second with a 588. Adelphi finished third with a 591.
