Assumption won the team title with a score of 605, and was followed by Adelphi (612), Pace (614), STAC (622), UMass-Lowell (624), the Eagles (625), Wilmington (634), Bentley (636), Dominican and Dowling (637), Goldey-Beacom (639), Southern New Hampshire (644), St. Rose (656), Nyack (674), Franklin Pierce (676), and New Haven (684). The Eagles were led by freshman Ryan Philipp who finished the 36-hole tournament with a score of 152. In the first round, he carded a 74, and finished the second round with a 78. "Ryan is coming along nicely and will be a big contributor to the golf program," Post Head Coach Pete Stevens said. Sophomore Lee Wanklyn rebounded after a 79 in the first round to finish second round play with a 77, finishing the tournament with a total of 156. Sophomore James Livingstone finished Monday's round, five strokes better with a 76 to finish the tournament with a two-round total of 157. "Jim is starting to contribute and will move up in the lineup," Stevens said. "He is playing consistently and with more tournament experience he will be a factor." Junior Jamie Blake finished the tournament with a two-round score of 160 (77, 83), and senior Calum Malcolm finished with a 164 (81, 83). "We need our experienced players to step up and start playing more consistently," Stevens added. "These players are the backbone of the team and will have to shoot a good number in order for the team to be successful." Stevens will also announce the selection of the team's captain on Tuesday. The Eagles will return to the links the weekend of September
23-24, as they will look to defend their ECAC Division II
