WATERBURY, Conn.-Post University men's golf Head Coach Pete Stevens announced the fall portion of its 2007-08 schedule this afternoon. The Eagles will be looking to capture their third straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship in the spring. The season tees off, the weekend of September 8-9, at the Goldey-Beacom College Invitational.

Post will play in its second tournament of the fall, at the Dowling College Invitational, September 16-17, at the Long Island National Golf Club.

Then, the Eagles will look to defend their ECAC Division II Championships at the Drumlins Golf Club in Syracuse, N.Y., September 23-24. At last year's ECAC Championships, hosted by LeMoyne College, the Eagles captured the team championship shooting a two-round total of 595 on the 6,231-yard par 71 course.

The team will then travel to the Adelphi Invitational, October 7-8.

The Adelphi Invitational will serve as a tune-up for the 2007 New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships, October 21-23 at the Captains Golf Course, in Brewster, Mass. Two years ago, the Eagles won the NEIGA Division II Championship.
