McGregor Featured In Hometown Newspaper

WATERBURY, Conn.-Freshman David McGregor of the Post University men's golf team was recently featured in his hometown newspaper, the Helensburgh Advertiser, in Helensburgh, Scotland.

McGregor, earned individual medalist honors at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships on April 15 at the Back Creek Golf Course in Wilmington, Del. For his efforts he was named the CACC Player of the Year and the CACC Rookie of the Year as well.

He was also one of four Eagles named to the All-CACC Team. McGregor also earned CACC Player and CACC Rookie of the Week awards, in the same week, on two occasions.

McGregor and the rest of the Eagles will head back to the same Back Creek Golf Course for the 2008 NCAA Division II Northeast Regional Championships, May 5-7, at the Northeast/East Super Regional. Post, the number-three seed in the Northeast, will be vying for a trip to the Division II National Championships in Houston, Texas.
