GolfMen's Golf Returns To Links This Weekend October 5, 2007 WATERBURY, Conn.-After, finishing 10th at the 2007 ECAC Division II Championships, in its last outing, the Post University men's golf team returns to the links this weekend, for the Adelphi University Fall Invitational at the Tall Grass Country Club, in Shoreham, N.Y. The Scottish Links Style course was rated as one of the Top-10 public access course in New York State in 2006 and 2007, according to Golfweek Magazine. The 6,587-yard course was designed by Gil Hanse, and has the feel of the type of course traditionally built in Scotland and England, according to the course website. Last time out, the Eagles were led by freshman Ryan Philipp who carded a two-round total of 148 (74, 74) to finish tied for 18th overall. As a team, Post finished 10th overall, in the 21-team field, with a two round score of 604 (304, 300). Sophomore James Livingstone finished second on the team and tied for 32nd overall with a 151. Livingstone carded a six-over par 77 in the first round, but came back to fire a three-over par 74 in the second round of play. Junior Jamie Blake finished third on the team with a 152 (74, 78), while sophomore captain Lee Wanklyn carded a 153 (79, 74) for the tournament. Senior Mike Cavallo registered a 171 (90, 81). England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships, October
21-23 at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Mass. Two years ago,
