SUFFERN, N.Y.-Lee Wanklyn fired an even par 72, to lead all players on the second day of competition, to earn medalist honors the 2007 Charger Challenge, at the Spook Rock Golf Club, Monday afternoon.

The Eagles finished third overall, with a team score of 618 (317, 301), improving three spots overall from the first day of the tournament.

Wanklyn fired a 150 (78,72), to finish the tournament at plus-six.

"This team never quits," Head Coach Pete Stevens said. "They showed character by coming out today to shoot the lowest round of the tournament with a 301. We have great momentum going into the New England Championships with a third place finish and last week's second place finish at the Adelphi Tournament."

Jamie Blake finished second on the team and tied for 10^th overall with a two-round total of 154, finishing plus-10 for the tournament. Blake carded a 78 in the first round, under windy conditions in the first round, but bounced back to finish with a four-over 76 in second round play.

Calum Malcolm was third on the team and tied for 14^th overall with a 155. He carded a 79 in the first round, and posted a four-over par 76 in the second round.

Ryan Philip recorded a 160, notching an 82 in first round play, and a 78 in the second round. James Livingstone had a 162, firing an 85 in the first round, and a 77 on Monday.

Post returns to the links next weekend at the 2007 New England Championships, at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Mass.
