NEW HAVEN, Conn.-Freshman Lee Wanklyn of the Post University men's golf team, was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week, after leading the Eagles in two tournaments last week.

He fired a two-over 72, on the 6,148-yard Torresdale-Frankford Country Club on March 28, helping the Eagles to a first-place finish in the four-team field.

In addition, he was plus-9 in the two-round Goldey-Beacom Invitational at the Hartefeld National Golf Course, last Monday and Tuesday, to finish tied for ninth overall. On the first-day of the tournament, he shot an even-par 72 on the 6,470-yard course.

Post is in action this week at the Peter King Memorial, hosted by Dowling College at Long Island National Golf Course.
