WHEELING, W.Va.-The Post University men's golf team has two golfers in the top-10, after the second-round of the 2007 NCAA Northeast Regional Championship at the Speidel Golf Club's Jones Course on Tuesday.

Sophomore Lloyd Notley, who was the co-leader after the first-round of the 54-hole tournament, carded an 8-over par 79, to finish the round tied for third in the individual competition. He birdied the par-three fourth hole, but failed to record another one the rest of the way.

Freshman Lee Wanklyn, moved up to ninth place after firing a 6-over 77, just three strokes better than his first round score. Wanklyn, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Year, birdied the par-four 391-yard 12^th hole, for his only birdie of the afternoon.

Sophomore Jamie Blake finished the second round third on the team and tied for 27^th overall with a 5-over 76. He had the best round of the day for the Eagles, birdying the par-four ninth hole, and the par-four 13^th.

Freshman Josh Ralton and junior Calum Malcolm rounded out the Eagles, each shooting a 90.

Post now sits in seventh place, moving up one spot in the standings following the first round. Bryant leads the way with a combined score of 635, followed by Pace with a 638, LeMoyne with a 639, Goldey-Beacom with a 643, Bentley with a 644, Assumption with a 649, the Eagles with a 655, and St. Thomas Aquinas with a 656.

Steve Culter of Goldey-Beacom leads after two days with an 8-over for the tournament. Dan McCarthy of LeMoyne is two strokes back at 10-over, and Brian Jasset,  Notley, and Dan Psinakis of Pace are four strokes back at 12-over.

The Northeast Regional will conclude on Wednesday morning, with the final round beginning at the 10^th hole.
