GolfNCAA Men's Golf Super Regionals Announced April 27, 2007 INDIANAPOLIS-Eighty teams, including the Post University men's golf team, and fifty individuals have been selected to participate in the 2007 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships Super Regionals. The Northeast and East Regional Tournaments will be held at the Speidel Golf Club in Wheeling, W.Va., May 7-9. The winner of each region will advance to the NCAA Championships, which will take place May 22-25 at The Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Michigan. The Eagles are ranked fourth in the latest NCAA Division II Northeast Regional rankings. They punched their ticket to the Northeast Regional for the third straight year, by capturing their second Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship, on April 17, at the Frog Hollow Country Club, in Middletown, Del. Freshman Lee Wanklyn led the Eagles with a third place finish at the CACC's, and was named the CACC Rookie of the Year. Sophomore Lloyd Notley finished tied for fourth, and joined Wanklyn on the All-CACC Team, with the top-10 finish. In addition to the Eagles, St. Thomas Aquinas, Pace, Bryant, LeMoyne, Goldey-Beacom, Assumption, and Bentley, will comprise the field for the 2007 Northeast Regional. Interim Head Coach Tommy Dorso was named the CACC Coach of the Year, after guiding the Eagles to their second CACC Title in as many years, and the school's first-ever ECAC Division II Championship in the fall. Dorso is taking over this year, while Head Coach Pete Stevens is serving in Iraq, in the U.S. Army.
