ANDOVER, Mass.-Freshman Lee Wanklyn led the Post University men's golf team with a two-round total of 157 to finish sixth overall, at the 2007 RiverHawk Invitational, at the Andover Country Club, hosted by UMass.-Lowell. The Eagles finished sixth overall, as they prepare for the NCAA Division II men's golf Northeast Regionals.

Wanklyn, garnered his third CACC Rookie of the Week honors, earlier on Monday, after finishing third overall at the CACC Championships, to help the Eagles capture their second CACC Championship in as many years, fired an 81 in the first round, and a 76 in the second round to lead the Eagles.

Calum Malcolm was second on the team with a two-round score of 160. He struggled through an 84 in the first round, and fired a 76 in the second round on Monday.

Lloyd Notely was third on the team with a combined score of 165 (82, 83), and was followed by Jamie Blake with a 167 (79, 83), Josh Ralton rounded out the Eagles with a 171 (87, 84).

Bryant won the team competition with a two-round score of 635, and was followed by LeMoyne (637), Dominican (639), New Haven (644), Pace (644), and the Eagles (645).

Jason Thresher of Bryant College won individual medalist honors with a 151, in a four-hole playoff over Dan Psinakis of Pace.

The Eagles earned the CACC automatic berth into the Northeast Regionals after winning the CACC Championships. The Northeast Regionals will take place May 7-9., and the Speidel Golf Club in Wheeling, West Virginia.
