GolfGolf Ranked Third In NCAA Northeast Region April 4, 2007 INDIANAPOLIS-The Post University men's golf team is ranked third in the latest NCAA Northeast Regional Rankings, according to the latest poll released on March 30, 2007. Post finished third at the Peter King Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by Dowling College. Freshman Lee Wanklyn, who on Monday was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week, finished fourth overall with a two-round score of 149. St. Thomas Aquinas leads the Northeast Region, and is followed by Bryant and the Eagles in the top three spots. LeMoyne is fourth in the region, ahead of Saint Anselm, Pace, Assumption, New Haven, Goldey-Beacom, and Bentley. This spring the Eagles won the Holy Family Invitational, and finished sixth at the Goldey-Beacom Invitational. In the fall, the Eagles won the 2006 ECAC Division II Championship at the Drumlins Golf Course in Syracuse, N.Y. The Eagles led by interim Head Coach Tommy Dorso, Jr., while Head Coach Pete Stevens is serving in the U.S. Army. Post, the defending CACC Conference Champions, will look to
defend its crown April 15-16 at the Frog Hollow Golf Course in
Delaware. Wilmington College will serve as the host school for the
2007 CACC Championship
