Baseball Completes Sweep Of Bloomfield

LYNDHURST, N.J.-The Post University baseball team completed a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) series sweep of Bloomfield College, winning the first game 5-3 and coming back to take the nightcap 3-1, Saturday afternoon at Breslin Field.

The Eagles, winners of eight of their last nine games and three in a row, improve to 19-22 overall and 10-10 in the CACC. Bloomfield falls to 14-32 overall and 5-16 in the CACC.

The Eagles take the season series with the Deacons, after a 14-3 drubbing Friday afternoon at Municipal Stadium.

Post will close out this weekend's CACC road-swing on Sunday afternoon with a nine-inning game at Chestnut Hill College. First pitch is slated for 12 p.m.
