BaseballBaseball Adds Two More To Roster August 27, 2007 WATERBURY, Conn.-Post University baseball Head Coach AJ McNamara announced the addition of Rob Perry and Garret Keenan to the roster for the 2008 season. Perry is also the brother of current Eagle sophomore RHP Mike Perry. Perry, a 6-foot-2 outfielder played his scholastic baseball like his brother at Manchester High School. He was a three-year starter, and a two-time All Central Connecticut Conference first-team selection. "Rob has the ability to step in right away and compete for time," McNamara said. "He is a gifted young man, who is more than capable of succeeding right away here. In time, with hard work and experience, he very well could be one of the finer players we have had here at Post." Keenan, a 6-foot-1 infielder from Massapequa, N.Y. played for St. Johns the Baptist High School, and helped his team to the CHSAA Championship Game. "Garrett has tremendous ability and has an outstanding baseball mind," McNamara said. "He knows the game well, plays it right and wants to improve in every facet of baseball. He comes from a quality baseball program in Long Island which knows how to season players for the college ranks. Through dedication and maturity, his name will soon be well-known throughout the conference." The Eagles, will begin preparations for the 2008 campaign with
fall practice, highlighted by the Green and White intra-squad World
Series.
