Eleven Student-Athletes Garner CACC All-Academic Kudos

WATERBURY, Conn.-Earlier this summer, the Central Athletic Collegiate Conference (CACC) announced the All-Academic Team for the spring sports season. Eleven Post University student-athletes garnered spots on the 70-member list.

The softball team led the way with six, while the baseball team had five student-athletes named.

Junior Jackie Davis (Lyndhurst, N.J./St. Dominic), junior Priscilla Encarnacao (White Plains, N.Y./Woodlands), senior Erin McKenna (Beverly, Mass./Beverly), sophomore Amanda Misa (New York, N.Y./Preston), junior Megan Pappas (Chester, N.Y./Warwick Valley), and sophomore Allison Williams (Montgomery, N.Y./Valley Central), garnered spots for the softball team.

Sophomore Curtis Anthony (Torrington, Conn./Torrington), junior William Deveau (Groton, Conn./UConn-Avery Point), sophomore Nick Mangini (Carmel, N.Y./Patterson), sophomore Chris Ouelette (Uncasville, Conn./Montville), and junior Pat Tracy (Stratford, Conn./Stratford) represented the baseball team.

To be eligible for the CACC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have participated in a spring CACC Championship sport, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or higher in the previous semester.
