WATERBURY, Conn. – Passion and enthusiasm will be found up and down the bench this year at the Drubner Center as first-year Post University men's basketball head coach
Marc Kuntz tabs two new assistant coaches for the 2016-17 season.
"I am very excited to have Justin and Mike and joining the staff here at Post. They are both young energetic guys who are looking to who are looking to help build Post into a championship program. Their energy will help with our players, on the recruiting trail and in the community will make the program better, said Coach Kuntz.
Justin Lang is a Newmarket, N.H. native and graduate of the University of New Hampshire comes up to Post University after two years as an assistant coach at Rhode Island College. Lang has previous coaching experience as an assistant at Plymouth State and was a student manger for four years at the University of New Hampshire.
Mike Maczko makes his way to Post after a brief stint in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) as a graduate assistant at Georgia Tech. Prior to his time with the Yellow Jackets, he spent two seasons as an assistant at Johns Hopkins. After an impressive college career at Salisbury, Mackzo played professional basketball for two seasons in the APBL (American Professional Basketball League).
The Eagles return nine players from a squad that finished second in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division last year. Kuntz has added 11 newcomers for the upcoming season, including Sacred Heart star Charles Fisher.
