NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Freshman Tamas Okros (Bristol, England) of the Post University men's basketball team was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week on Monday. He has earned the honor five times this season.
 
Okros averaged 20.5 points 6.0 rebounds while shooting 70.0 from behind the arc in two games this week. He put up a career-best 28 points to go with seven rebounds, and two blocks in the Eagles 83-80 victory over Concordia. Okros had 13 point, five rebounds, and two assists against Nyack.
 
Post closes out its regular season on Tuesday night at Dominican at 7:30 p.m. A win by the Eagles would clinch the #2 seed in the CACC Tournament and a home game on Saturday against USciences, with a loss Post will be the fourth seed and visit Holy Family in the first round.
