2014-15 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards ReleaseKANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Post University men's basketball team received the Team Academic Excellence Award from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Wednesday.
In order to earn a NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, institutions in NCAA Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA Divisions I and II must count the grade point averages of all men's student-athletes who competed during the 2014-15 season.
This season the Post men's basketball team boasted a 3.21 team grade-point average. It marks the first time the Eagles have been honored in the three-year history of the award.
Post was one of three institutions from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to earn the award, joining Caldwell and USciences.
