2015 NEILA Academic All-New England Teams
NEWTON, Mass. – Senior
Anthony DeRosa (Toms River, N.J.) of the Post University men's lacrosse team was named to the 2015 Academic All-New England Team by the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA).

Members of this team are all graduating seniors who have excelled both in the classroom and on the playing field.

In order to be selected for this team, student-athletes must be in their final year of eligibility, have posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and be a significant enough contributor on the field that they were nominated for conference or regional recognition.

DeRosa started all 14 games for Post in goal and was near the top of Division II with a .539 save percentage, 145 saves, and a 10.21 goals against average.

Just nine student-athletes from Division II were honored and 75 overall from all three divisions.
Â
The Eagles closed out their season with a 6-8 record, including an exciting 8-7 victory over Chestnut Hill in their season finale.
