Joe Baccielo (Stratford, Conn.) scored two goals as the Post University men's soccer team crushed Goldey-Beacom 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in Wilmington, Del. Baccielo moves into third place on the Post career goals-scored list with 25 tallies, passing Maurice Johnson (2005-09).

The Eagles once again outshot their opponent by a large margin, holding a 21-6 advantage on the day. Post has held a 57-18 advantage in shots in its last three games. Baccielo led the team with 10 shots, sophomore
Francisco Sastre (Sao Paolo, Brazil) chipped in five attempts.

Post (4-1, 2-1) got on the board early with a beautiful goal by Baccielo in the fourth minute. Junior
Terrell Whitting (Naugatuck, Conn.) played the ball up to Baccielo, who knocked it past his defender on one side as he ran to the other. He got the ball back and shot to the far side past the keeper.

th minute when freshman
Armando Filho (Cataguases, Brazil) crossed a pass to sophomore
Raphael Moura (Danbury, Conn.) who headed it for the score.

Early in the second half, Filho passed a ball up ahead to Baccielo in the penalty area. Baccielo was fouled in the zone and was awarded a penalty kick which he was successful on to put Post ahead 3-0.

Senior
Andre Lindsay (Clarendon, Jamaica) has recorded a shutout in each of the Eagles' victories this season. The senior has allowed just one goal this season on 48 shots faced.

The fourth-ranked team in the East Region, Post, heads to Dominican on Tuesday, Sept. 24 in a rematch of last season's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship game. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
