Post Women’s Soccer Receives NSCAA Team Academic Award

Eagles Receive Honor For Second-Consecutive Season

EDISON, N.J. – The Post University women's soccer team were recognized for academics by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) on Thursday. The Eagles received the 2012-13 College Team Academic Award for the second-consecutive year for having a grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
 
Post achieved the honor with a team grade-point average of 3.35 and was one of seven Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) teams honored. Caldwell, Chestnut Hill, Felician, Georgian Court, Goldey-Beacom, and Wilmington also received the award.
 
A total of 862 teams across NCAA Division I, II, and III were honored, including 269 men's teams and 593 women's teams.
 
The Eagles concluded the season with a 7-9 record overall and a 5-7 record in CACC. It was the most victories for the squad since the 2006 season.
